Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and a board member of the SSC's Board of Directors since 2011 she was one of the original co-artistic director of Speech of Fire. She also served in the SSC as the producer, costume/set design composer/music director and as a text coach and as the Artistic Director. Though she typically led within her acting ensemble but in the final year of work with SSC King Lear, she became a director and lighting designer.
